1. Information We Collect

When you use Rakuten to Pinterest ("the App"), we may collect the following information:

• Pinterest account information: Your display name and board list, obtained through Pinterest OAuth with your explicit consent.
• Rakuten product URLs: The product URLs you enter into the App to generate Pin content.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to provide the App's core functionality:

• Fetching your Pinterest board list so you can select where to save Pins.
• Creating Pins on your selected Pinterest board with product information.
• Retrieving product details from Rakuten to generate Pin content.

3. Data Storage

This App does not store user data on any external database.

• Your Pinterest access token is stored only in an HttpOnly, Secure cookie in your browser.
• No user data is persisted on our servers.
• No analytics or tracking data is collected.

4. Cookies

The App uses cookies solely for the following purpose:

• pinterest_token: Temporarily stores your Pinterest authentication token (HttpOnly; Secure; expires after 30 days). This cookie is only sent to our Pinterest API endpoints and is not accessible by JavaScript.
• pinterest_state: A short-lived cookie used for OAuth CSRF protection (expires after 10 minutes).

5. Third-Party Services

The App interacts with the following third-party services:

• Pinterest API: To authenticate your account, retrieve boards, and create Pins. Subject to Pinterest's Privacy Policy.
• Rakuten Product Search API: To retrieve product information from Rakuten. Subject to Rakuten's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal information to any third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the App (i.e., communicating with Pinterest and Rakuten APIs on your behalf).

7. Data Deletion

You can revoke the App's access at any time:

• Clear your browser cookies to immediately remove your Pinterest access token from your device.
• Revoke access in Pinterest settings: Go to Pinterest > Settings > Apps to disconnect this App.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
